Town Hall Visioning in Four Churches
Four of the 15 Broward County ELCA churches have met to conduct congregation-wide visioning using a Town Hall Meeting techniqe. This visioning exercise is designed to uncover the shared sense of purpopose withing the congregation and its dreams for the future. The photo below shows the youth table and one of the three adult visioning tables at Redeemer Lutheran Church on February 21:
Pat Zangmeister of All Saints, John Kassing of Zion, and Anne-Maree Norris of First are available as local facilitators for Town Hall Visioning.
Greater Fort Lauderdale Cluster
Abiding Savior, Christ, and First Lutheran Churches have formed the "Greater Fort Lauderdale Cluster". Each of the congregations appointed leaders to a team that is meeting to explore the benefits, drawbacks, and feasibility of a Rebirth Merger. The photo above shows the cluster meeting with Dave Raymond on February 20th. The second meeting was on Saturday, March 20. Pastors Travis Kern, Bill Knott, and Paul Schweinler are assisting in this effort.

Christ the King and Living Faith Form Partnership
Christ the King in Sunrise and Living Faith in Pembroke Pines have formed a partnership to provide pastoral services to Christ the King. Pastor Clark Kilgard is conducting worship at both churches each Sunday and serving and serving the pastoral needs of both congregatons during the week. To the right is the Masonic building where Living Faith Lutheran Church worships.
